Artist Edition E651（100w）のコンセプトはそのままに、機能を省略する事無くパワー管の数を半分の50W出力にしたのがArtist Edition 50 です。50Wになった事により真空管のピークポイントに到達しやすく、パワー管をプッシュすることで生まれるサチュレーションを得やすく設計されています。その音色は50wとは思えないほどパワフルです。芯のはっきりとしたクランチサウンドからENGL十八番のハイゲイン・ディストーションまでなんなくアウトプットします。 またクリーン/リードの2つのチャンネルとゲインスイッチの組み合わせによる4段階ゲイン・ステージ、シリーズ/パラレルを切り替えられるFX Loopを含めた数々の充実したコントロールは別売のフットスイッチを使えば足元でも操作可能になっています。

Invader100の柔軟な音作りというコンセプトを基にさらなる進化を遂げたInvader II。独立した4つの各チャンネルには3-BAND EQとハイゲイン/ローゲインモードを装備。同一チャンネルでゲイン切り替えた時に発生する音量差を調整できるように新たにボリューム・レシオ・コントロールが追加されました。また切り替え可能な2系統をFXループとENGLの特徴でもある2つのマスターボリュームも搭載しています。
特筆するべき新機能はアンプの持つキャラクターを変化させるSOUND切替スイッチ。この機能が加えられた事で、オプションのMIDIフットコントローラーを使用すれば、足元で最大16種類ものサウンドを切り替えることができます。さらにオプションのENGL SOUND WIZARD MODULE Z-16搭載することで、より細かな サウンドのカスタマイズとファインチューニングの機能を拡張することを可能とします。
